US Senate Passes the Bill of Making the Daylight Saving Time Permanent

The US Senate unanimously approved The Sunshine Protection Act initiated by the Republican Senator Marco Rubio.
According to the act, Americans will not have to change the clock twice a tear but they will get one more daylight hour in winter.
Rubio claims that more daylight time in winter can help improve adults’ and childrens’ health, plus reduce crime, energy bills and car accidents. Overall, these changes can positively affect the American economy.

Currently, the Sunshine Protection Act is passed to the House and President. If the bill is approved, its implementation will start in November 2023. By this time, the transportation industry is expected to have changed its vehicle schedules.
