US and Allies Announce More Sanctions on Russia Over The War in Ukraine

The US, the UK, NATO and G7 leaders imposed new sanctions on Russian strategic objects, Duma and its deputies, plus Sberbank.
Mainly, the US sanctions targeted 48 Russian companies that delivered weapons to attack Ukrainian strategic objects, territory, and civilians. The Sberbank CEO Herman Gref was admitted as a closest ally to Vladimir Putin and was sanctioned personally as well.
On March 24, in Brussels, NATO allies and the G7 met to discuss the ongoing Russian invasion in Ukraine and the organizations’ next actions. The leaders agreed to increase cybersecurity in the alliance countries and prepare necessary equipment to prevent possible chemical, biological or nuclear threats from Russia.
After the NATO meeting, the UK Foreign Secretary imposed 65 sanctions on Russian elites, industry objects, and bank institutions.
On March 24, Ukraine marked one month of a full-scale war declared by Russia.
